Adaption's Adaptive Data/Blueprint
For a long time, prompting has been the main way to get AI systems to produce desired outputs. We write paragraph long prompts and constantly tweak them to steer models toward the right behavior including tone, format, length, or safety guidelines.
It always felt super hacky and unstable to me. A prompt that works perfectly for one model or context might completely fall apart in another.
Adaption Labs recently released Adaptive Data and Blueprint to help developers and AI systems builders maintain control model behavior at the data layer. Instead of using static data and adapting our prompts to get desired behavior, Adaptive Data makes data dynamic to the context. The platform lets you control and shape your data so it adapts to whatever context you actually care about.
Blueprint lets you define explicit data specifications, defining some sort of gold standard for your data, and score your existing dataspace based on these rules. From there, Adaptive Data kicks in to optimize and reshape your datasets to fit your specific use case perfectly.
